Learning to Drive

Call or text me on 07747 010620

Learning to drive really is a skill for life.  Unless you choose to develop your driving further, for example by sitting an advanced driving test, you will receive no further driving instruction once you have passed your test.  If you pass your test when you are 17, you could be driving for another 60,70, maybe even 80 years if you are lucky!  It is therefore vital that the skills and habits you develop as a learner will carry you safely and efficiently throughout your driving life.

Your driving course is structured to ensure that, not only will you cover the minimum required for passing the driving test, but that you will be a safe, competent and confident driver for life.

I keep a written record of your progress, which we discuss regularly.  I am very happy to discuss progress (with the learner’s permission of course!) with parents of younger learners.

Lessons are delivered in a relaxed manner and your course is structured and paced to suit you – the individual.  I have an excellent track record with nervous pupils.  Each person is different, with different strengths and weaknesses.  These will be identified. Your strengths will be developed and encouraged, and any weaknesses will be addressed and worked on till we are both happy with  your confidence and competence.

Lesson length can be varied to suit you and your budget, although the minimum lesson length is 1 hour. Depending on your location, and distance from the training areas, longer lessons may be more appropriate.

I am available daytime, some evenings and  at weekends. can pick you up from home, work, school or college by arrangement.
